Once you have Jave runtime installed, you can go back and install Yawcam.
It's not hard to figure out, but you'll have to tell it what device you want it to use.
I think you have to do it every time, but I haven't played much with it yet.
There are other free web cam programs available also.
This is just one that I tried to use with the camera to see if it was working.

By not finding the web cam do you mean it doesn't show up in device manager?
Do you have any devices with yellow triangels next to them in device manager?
Would you copy and paste a screen shot of your device manager for use to see?
Only one thing worked: run the Vista in compatibility mode.

With some hard effort everything is working.
But one thing is bothering me.
The built in webcam is acting strange and I can't find what the problem is.
Currently it is installed using driver and when I use the software the camera works.
By default the capture program of logitech is running at start up.
I disable this just like a lot of services I don't at once they will start eventually.
My problem is that when I start Skype for example the web-cam won't work until I start the capture software.
And now comes the peculiar thing.
When I shut this software down even the services attached to it.
And reboot or not Skype, the web-cam is working fine.
What is going on here why do I need to start-up a piece of software that doesn't need to keep running to use my web-cam in third party software.
Does anybody have the faintest idea what is happening here?
You need to find a Windows 7 device driver or get a new webcam.
